1. Overview

The BB1 series axially split centrifugal pump is designed for transporting clear water and liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clear water. The maximum temperature of the liquid can range from 80°C to 160°C. It is suitable for applications in factories, mines, municipal water supply, power plants, large-scale water conservancy projects, and farmland irrigation. The performance range is as follows:

- Flow rate: from 112 m³/h to 11,000 m³/h

- Head: from 9 meters to 220 meters

2. Structural Description

The pump body and bearing housing of the BB1 series pump are of axially split design, allowing for quick disassembly and assembly of rotor components. The main components include the pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double suction ring, shaft sleeve, packing and gland (or mechanical seal), bearing housing, and bearing cover.

Both the inlet and outlet of the pump are located below the pump shaft centerline. The pump cover is positioned and secured to the pump body with double-headed studs and tapered pins. This design allows the pump cover to be removed for internal inspection and maintenance without dismantling the inlet, outlet pipelines, or the motor. The pump operates with a clockwise rotation when viewed from the drive end.
